It's times like this I wonder why I got so involved And it's times like this I wonder why I even try at all I'm striving towards something That isn't available Now the waiting game has ceased I've waited and waited, waited to see It's times like this that I'm backed up against the wall Drifting through a series of emotions and melodrama I've learned to swim, but tell me when does it end The blackness envelops my every thought my entire being And now I'm drowning in the turmoil And I'm backed up against the wall Puked up the feelings to no avail Heat rising from my head, what's the deal? A texture of suffering so tender A texture of suffering so warm Vacant stares into the wall Emptiness into the wall Vacantness into the wall Nothingness into the wall It's so much more than this Some things I can't describe And I'm startled by her radiance and her beauty And forever lost inside her fecundity

Solstice 02:46
There are many of you What expectations have you? Tell me what is it that you want from me? Some say I've changed, is change such a terrible thing? Some of you say that I'm not, I'm not the same And when I question you about it You have nothing to say Now can you tell me who is who? And who's the same? FUCK SHIT UP! Why should I talk to you? When you know everything It's all there in your monologue And it means nothing to me What's your definition of what I used to be? Don't plan on it being the same Forever Never So I put on that music That Straight Faced tape I killed those fucking feelings The ones that you create Solstice I'm Solstice now

No one to blame At the alms of this state of existing I feel so forsaken and so alone With no one to blame but myself There's no one to blame, no one to blame Knowing her amiability to inspire Can turn against my best theories And I knew full-well going into this The anguish that would surface The pain of it The pain of it the protest inside The war I fight, the pain I hide The pain of it, a protest inside The war I fight, the pain that I can't hide The wise-side emerged and took its course The feelings so tremendous coming straight from the source And now it's all abandon and left to this heart Coming down from this is like a trial in the dark So! You sit in your petty contemplations Leaving me to be in this state of repression And you want me to be your friend As I drown in these emotions and you walk away again... No one to blame Caress your ideas, caress! Persecute your strength, your strength! Infuse your enthusiasm, whatever it takes

Clenched fists my knees are weak And in my head I feel my heartbeat Eyes like hollow points the clock ticks, it ticks The lines in my face Tell you stories that seem out of place This life is so precious The poison doesn't make any sense On the wall a Ginsberg black and white The night became day I'm all bottled up in one And through the blinds it's light outside The night became day I'm all bottled up inside As I fall into Fall and 4:07 in the AM Jawbreaker plays, and I learn who I am I read the poems of Yeats from the coffee table My foot falls asleep Indian style

Friction 03:05
Friction! Push! Me to the point, the point where I push my finger at you A warning sign, this time, you don't amuse me You taunt my friends with words from jail And ignorant mindset acquired in hell You're digging a hole trying to burry us all What you don't know is that you're fucking yourself A little voice, behind the glass Years have gone by and you're still the same Your sleeves are rolled down and they hide your shame I don't care about you and tried to for so long The lights go out, and the blanket comes down The beating ensues, ignorance as well Friction, friction, friction! No more ignorance
